The time taken to get ready for an audit depends on how much documentation; policies, processes and procedures, are already in place and being applied successfully. More often than not, an internal pre-audit is undertaken as a form of gap analysis to identify the shortfall in any requirements. There needs to be sufficient time to apply new documentation to ensure that it not only works, but there is an adequate lead time of records in place for the audit process. What We Do.
